As you might have heard, my poetry book, The relativity of a corroded mind, has been published! But don't rush to buy it just yet, since you might be able to get it for free.
The people at Blurb, who published my book, have given me the opportunity to give away a $75 coupon to be used on their site. That would allow you to get even several copies of my slim little book. Maybe you want to give some as gifts to your friends, who knows?
However, first I will be holding a little contest to find the lucky winner for the coupon.
Here are the rules:
- To enter, please specify that you want to participate and answer this question: If you decide to make your own Blurb book, what would it be about? (let your imagination run wild, I know I did)
- Just one entry per person, please, and no cheating.
- All entries are accepted, provided Blurb can ship to you. Please check the regions here. Don't worry, though, they can get almost anywhere.
- The contest ends on the 6th of July, at 0 AM GMT. I have included a counter to make the Maths easier.
- To be fair, I will choose the winner randomly.
If you have any questions, by all means, ask them. My e-mail is daftline @ gmail . com
Good luck everyone!
Oh, I definitely want to participate :)
ReplyDeleteShould I be brave enough to have a book published by BLURB? I think I'd probably do a children's book about the interactions of my five dogs...I'd call it the Dogfamous Five :)
Big hug,
Des xoxo
I would like my name put into the drawing for your book. If I wrote a book it would be about women in the South. As a matter of fact, stories for the book have been written.
ReplyDeleteme, me , me I want to participate! Do I have to answer the question because you now the answer already...however I have also written a children's book about 'Hugo the wild pig' that teaches children basic french.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the book Lavi...I shall go and check out Blurb. I've also been trying to send you an email...might try facebook to do that since hotmail won't let me XOXO
Back again to say I have just been reading the sample pages and I love it - The Black Widow is one of my favourites at the moment although I like them all....you are clearly very talented my dear!
ReplyDeleteDes sent me over and I would like to participate as well.

Oops, I forgot the question: If I were to write a book it would be on life in the Carolina mountains. Truly living "The Simple Life" and loving every minute of it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone, and thanks for coming back, Odie!
ReplyDeleteI have prolonged the participation period, so that more people can enter. Some of you are probably celebrating the 4th of July.
I honestly don't know what I would write but I was asked to collaborate on a book with someone. Can't say who or what the topic would be because it would start a rumor their neither of us can make good on right now. Anyway, Thank you for telling me about your giveaway. I love books.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to publish a book, it would be something dedicated to cat lovers who have their lives turned upside down by the demands of their furry friends, sort of like the life I live :)
ReplyDeleteMy book would be about etiquette around the disabled. It would give insight for others to learn what to do and what not to do, such as not pet a blind person's seeing dog.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your book! I'll buy it even if I don't win :)

This is me participating :-)
ReplyDeleteI think I would write a recipe book.
If I was to have Blurb publish my book I would create some adult fairy tales and choose a talented artist to illustrate it.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! I will choose the winner shortly.
ReplyDeleteI'll wait a bit for a friend who has been trying to enter, but had technical difficulties.
that friend would be ME!!! so sorry :)
ReplyDeleteokay, if i were to write a book on blurb, it would contain short funny, sad, happy, angry, silly and sometimes rude stories from a very opinionated pigdog named Georgia Little Pea Ratatouille.
her Typist would do some very bad illustrations for the book.
there will be a happy ending of course, because The Typist will make a lot of money from the book and Georgia will get to eat lamb bones [gently grilled] every day for the rest of her life.
The End.
Thanks Lavi :) xox
